Mission Statement for 4th Grade Classroom
In West Hardin’s fourth-grade classrooms, we are dedicated to fostering a nurturing and empowering environment that nurtures both educational and social-emotional growth. Our mission is to develop well-rounded students who not only excel academically but also thrive as compassionate and confident individuals.
Education Growth
We want to develop lifelong learners in our classroom. Fourth grade is a place where curiosity is celebrated, questions are encouraged, and every student is motivated to become an essential team member on our educational journey. We instill higher-order thinking through a variety of teaching methods. Our mission is for every student to achieve everything of which they are capable.
Social-Emotional Growth
We understand students face many challenges in their everyday life. It is our mission to provide a safe and supportive environment for students in which to learn.
Meet Pod B - West Hardin’s 4th and 5th Grade Team
*We have 27 years of combined experience.
* 5 different elementary school settings
* We have degrees in the following areas: Bachelor of Science in Education K-6, Bachelor of Art in Music Education, and Master of Arts in Teaching Elementary Education.
* Combined We have taught in all the following grades, 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade.
* Strengths of our team include – Teamwork, Kindness, Compassion, Adaptability, High expectations!
